Chimayo weavings are done to specification by a third generation weaving house. The weavers are artists in their own right, and it takes from 8-10 weeks depending on their workload. The pieces are extremely well made and durable consisting of 100% wool weft and warp. Most patterns are done with three or four colors, but as many as seven colors can be used. Sample yarns are available upon request. Patterns may be specified from the various photos in this portfolio. We often leave the pattern choice to the weavers and are pleased with the results. Reproductions of vintage patterns can be done if you have an old favorite you would like to see revived.
